Workflow
Revit project setup and communication
A project manager with an architectural background and strong Revit skills acts as your main point of contact.
First we clarify the scope, available information, responsibilities, programme and deliverables. We review your Revit templates, drawing standards and BIM requirements so that production follows your practice’s established approach.
Software and collaboration
We work directly in Autodesk Revit and use standardised workflows, supported by plug-ins and automation where appropriate. Our BIM specialists can develop custom families and Revit tools to address repetitive production tasks.
We are comfortable working within your common data environment (CDE), including ACC/BIM 360, and using Revizto for model-based issue tracking. Agreed review points and clear communication help your team follow progress and resolve questions during production.
BIM quality control
BIM control includes clash checking and model-quality verification against the project’s agreed information requirements, including EIR requirements where applicable.
Checks can be supported by BIM-Auditor to verify required parameters and their completion, and Clashes Manager to support clash review and management.
The Project Manager or BIM Coordinator coordinates comments and queries. We can record assumptions and questions in a shared register and raise requests for information (RFIs) for clarification before the package is issued.
